 Fall/Lee Creek
« Thread Started on Nov 17, 2008, 11:50am »

The mud holes at Fall/Lee Creek are GONE!!!

The Forest Service dozed them all and made a parking lot!!

On the east side of the low water bridge at Fall Creek the mud holes have all been filled in and made into a parking lot. They are adding a bathroom and making that the official trail head for the Buckhorn Trail System.
On the West side you can still camp and the have cut in a new trail that loops back around to Old Cove City Rd.
They are putting in 68 +/- miles of trails in the area. Of course that will be a long process. The trails that are new are pretty good and the trails that go back to the north and east of the mud holes are still there, but they say that they will be "closed" in the near future.

well not quite, a couple of weeks ago i was riding "Buckhorn" and came upon quite a sticky spot, the right front of the rzr disappeared, backed up went around the spot only to find the bypass trail just as muddy..... ok no big deal, but the atv following me wasnt so lucky, got pretty stuck nope no winch and guess who left the tow strap at the truck? Buckhorn( fall creek) is just 1/2 hour away from me so I have been trying to ride there when I can get away . I have an area map of the west phase of the " OHV park trail" on my web page at: http://sites.google.com/site/thundermountainatv/
