As for me, I will be there Saturday morning. I get off work in Siloam Springs at 7 a.m. If anyone wants to meet me there at 7 a.m. to follow me to Lee's Creek, let me know and we can arrange this.
I will stay until Monday afternoon. I have a couple of small errands I need to do, but it won't take to long at all over the weekend.
I cannot wait to go back to the area. It has been 2 years since I have been there!!!

Directions to Lee Creek From I-40. Van Buren Ar.
From I-40, take Hwy 59 N. from Van Buren. (Approx. 8 miles north of I-40) Turn RIGHT on state Hwy 220. You follow hwy 220 8-10 miles until you come to Lee creek. It has a nice, big, wide concrete bridge (in the middle of nowhere). You can camp at the bride.
After you cross the bridge the road turns to gravel, about 1/4 mile up , Hwy 220 turns to the RIGHT. Follow 220 about 1-2 miles. You will come to a low water bridge. When you cross the bridge you are at Falls Creek, that is where the good mud holes are and most people camp. The folks from themuddytire.com have said that they always camp on the west side of the road there.
If you are coming down from NWA, I am not sure the best way other than down I-540 to West Fork. From West Fork go WEST on Hwy 74 (towards Devils Den) You have to take Hwy 220/ Hwy 170 So. to Lee Creek. OR you can go West on Hwy 62 from Fayetteville to Hwy 59 and then So. to Hwy 220 on you Left if you are coming South on 59
Hope this helps.

Dawn,
I think the only way a side by side can join the fun is if they are the FIRST ones to try out the mud holes. What ya think???

Works for me...I say if they make it through....the rest of us quad riders must jump in and roll around in the mud and not use our quads...what cha think? I'm up for it!!!!!!!!!! Wouldn't be the first time we've mud wrestled in the mud holes at Lee's Creek!!!!!!!

Oh, if she won't, someone else with the Outlaws will pull ya out or jump in to winch you up....as long as you get in and play...we guarantee we'll get you out....I got my Grizzly stuck and of course they made me hook myself up by throwing it to me....but hey, it was fun....everyone loves mud...don't they? NO MUD = NO FUN !!!
Dust sucks, I hope it rains like crazy the week before we go. I bet the creeks are just a trickle right now.
Cool weather needs to hurry up and get here !!!
I don't think Jared has ever REALLY got his new griz stuck yet has he????lol.
There is a couple of mud holes there that you will swamp in if it has rained. (like over the handle bars kinda deep). We need to test our Yamerhammers against all those off- brand bikes !!!

My Grizz needs to get unscared of the water/mud/muck again. It's been a while since she's been sunk!!!! I know I bought her brand new and then sunk her for the first time at Lee's Creek.
We should have some contests....haha! I can't wait....sounds like a blast to me!!!

The last time I was there, the water (mud holes) were pretty low from summer and lack of rain. BUT, there is one hole that is chest deep and it just looks like all the rest of them. There were some kids (on dirt bikess) saying there was no way an atv could make it thru one. He showed us he couldn't either, he dropped it in about 3 feet of muck. LOL !!! We had the last laugh cause guess who had to winch him out after all the mouthin'. Shoulda left him there!
I will be glad for you to show us where Prairie Grove is. There are some trails North of the concrete bridge that go up one of the best creek beds we have ever found.
It needs to hurry up and get here!!!!

Hmmm...how bout losers who don't make it through have to take the winner's quads to the creek and hand wash them? My luck it'll be me doing the washing...but I will do it if I lose...I'm a good sport like that....haha!

I'm not too sure my Grizz will be fixed before the ride, parts are damn expensive for the new ones , but I'm going to try. I've had it in some deep stuff before. Here is a pic from Moccasin Gap, and this was after backing up about 2 feet, that hole was too deep! I challenge anyone to cross the fast flowing creeks at Mt. Magazine after a flood there. I've got my vid as proof , check it out below. Looking forward to this ride!

OK, YOU have proof that a Grizzly is half boat! I bet there was a little "pucker factor" going on there HUH? That is what makes it fun though. I'm glad you made it, otherwise we could have fished you out of the AR. river somewhere around Clarksville . You would have gone down stream quite a ways. I think that video on youtube is how I found themuddytire.com. I know ya'll got a bunch of rain this weekend too, we got over 4 inches here. I am going up to LEE creek one day this week just to take a peek at things, maybe go ride this Sat. up there. I'll let you know how things look. I wish the HOT weather was over, but probably not.

Hey...from the low water bridge, where are you all talking about camping at? Give me specific directions...I am an outta the box blonde, remember?

yeah lots of "pucker factor" when the front end came up. I actually crossed that particular spot 4 times that week, nobody else had the guts to follow. I'm glad I made it too. I had barely made 4 payments on it and would have been mad at myself if I would have lost it.
We did get quite a bit of rain this week and it was nice and cool, now it's just somewhat cool and humid. I'm hoping the holes have some water out of them so the mud gets thicker.

Well, Hitek, You better get that thing fixed. I'll try just about anything if I have some competition or enough ribbing as long as the water won't drown it out. One buddy flooded his at Mill creek and it cost over $300 to fix. I'll be glad to get back in the woods and do some riding. I may go up to Lee creek this Sat. and poke around a little. If so, I'll give a report on conditions.
