Hi everyone. I'm new to the group and this is my first post. I am in need of some help. My brother and I recently made a trip to the Kiamichi mountains and stayed @ a place called A to Z guest ranch. They are in the mountains and have incredible trails. We are wanting to make another trip but want to go some place new. Now for my question. Has anybody ridden on any of the trails down by Broken Bow and if so can some one tell what they are like. We stayed our first night in Broken Bow and the "trails" were horrible. They were nothing but dirt roads among acres of cleared forest. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this same thing or if different areas had actual trails and we were just in a bad area. I keep finding lots of cabins that are located in that general area around Broken Bow lake and Beavers Bend Resort Park but can't imagine that these are the only types of trails. If anybody can give me some information it would be greatly appreciated. Hope we can make some of your upcoming rides.
Thanks,
Scott Holt

Yes I got it. Thanks. I was just wondering if anybody in your group had ever been down to the Broken Bow area and ridden the trails down there. The area I am specifically wondering about is the Three Rivers Management Area. The information you supplied was helpful. Thanks again.

Hey Scott...My name is Mark....I have never ridden there..I have ridden over at Wolf Pen Gap outside Mena, AR(northern part of Oucahita Mountains)..It was pretty cool...I know there was a guy named John who posted on here for awhile that lived down in that area and rode alot at Honobia WMA, and I think he had ridden in the Broken Bow area as well...But, I haven't seen him post on here for a few months...I was thinking about riding down that way some time this year, so let us all know how it is if you go or let me know when you're going...Me and some of my buddies might be interested in making the trip.... Thanks and welcome to the forum.....

Thanks Mark. We have thought about wolf pen gap but it's hard to find a large cabin around there. We are taking the wife and kids and need a big place. We are going on March 18-21st and are staying at heartpine hollow cabins. They cabins seem real nice (so the family will be happy) and they claim to have 4500 acres of trails in the area. I've been to the kiamichi mountains 3 times and every time I've stayed someplace different and every time I've had a different experience with the types of trails. The place is so big you never know what you're going to get. I'm hoping me and my brother can make a short trip down there between now and then to check it out. If you do plan a trip check out these cabins. Maybe if you go the same week we could meet up. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't i read somewhere on this forum that you are from Broken Arrow? That's where we live too. Where do you usually ride?
Thanks again.

Hey Scott...Yes, I live in BA(or as I like to call it, Little Russia, inside joke )...Anyway, I have two bikes...I usually go riding with my daughter's boyfriend Sean...We ride just about everywhere, all the time...From March to November(closed for bald eagles Nov-Feb) we really like Whitewater Bay(below Keystone Dam) for our local riding spot, but we like to ride everywhere...My personal favorite so far is Little Sahara(can't wait to go back..soon)...We ride at Salina, Eufala dams and there is also another local spot out west of Tulsa I sometimes ride with my buddy Ted....The main thing is I like to ride as much as possible...I have been out of action for the last week or so due to problems with my Yamaha, but I should have that resolved this week so I am sure we will be riding somewhere this Saturday(1/14)...Just let me know if you wanna meet up and we can Just to let you know, I have a wife(who is disabled, so she doesn't ride...YET) and a 19 year old daughter who rides every once in a while....Anyway, I will quit babbling...Hopefully, we will see you on the trails...I'm pretty easy to spot....I'm the guy with the Longhorn stickers on the back of both of my bikes.....
