hey james you know anything about artic cat's? heard they were alright i just dont know -Arctic cats are all right from what i kno. they are pretty muchly suzuki(motor wise) with REALLY high ground clearance in fact too high i think.(12") casue if u go up a steep hill you tip back EASY. So thats one thing i dont like about them.another thing is that they are hard to steer.ur arms are sore from turning them so hard when ur riding.its like a work out in the gym lol. about the in the shop question. the newer models 04-05's are good from what ive heard no problems from anyone, however the 03's and down (especially 01,02,03's) have had MANY problems with some people but a few havnt had problems with theirs.so i guess there were many lemons out that year.lol so pretty much id say ud be better off buying a Honda suzuki or Yamaha.the reason i dont include polaris is becasue ive heard that they are in the shop A LOT, from owners).so if i was you id get either a Suzuki-Newer one 03 and up-,Honda-very reliable, i have a 92 fourtrax 200 type II and put that thing threw torture yesturday and never got stuck in all the mud and that thing still runs like its brand new, only changed the spark plug, air filter, and put gas n oil in it-,or a yamaha-2000 or up- Hondas Last-Yamahas are Fast-Thats all Utility talking lol not sport. ----casue ive got $7,000 saved up for a new quad and im thinkin bout either an 05 Raptor 660R or an 05 Predator TLE-----

I have rode 2 strokes starting with my 1988 Honda 250r.. I bought it brand new and sold it last year and it was all original except the pipe/filter and the motor had never been opened up.. In 1996 I bought my first Banshee and it the one at the Roostingthedunes.com website red/yellow and all i ever did was put Toomey T5 pipes on it and K/N filter.. And in 2003 I sold it to the guy who has the website mentioned above.. I currently have a 2003 Banshee with T6/K/N filter on it.. I have never ran into any problems with the carbs on a twin.. There is a eye within the carbs on a Banshee that have to be in sync.. I am no rocket mechanic but i dont take ANY of my bike back to the Dealer.. I have bought all my bikes brand new and when i sell them they are like brand new.. Do I ride Hell Yes I ride but I take care of my equip.. I ride out at LS most of the time and down below Eufaula Dam pretty good riding there..
