Anyone interested in a Float Trip on July 21? Saturday? We had one last year, but we didn't have enough people committed to rafting...
Anyone wanna go? Illinois River near Tahlequah, OK.

Ok, we are floating this Saturday. We will be shoving off at 10 a.m. I will post what place will be floating from today after we all put in our opinions. We have floated from Hanging Rock and Eagle Bluff in the past, but they always drop us off at the same point...the top of the river. We were wanting to explore the lower half...
I'll update later

Alright, we are floating from EAGLE BLUFF on Saturday, July 21. Eagle Bluff is between Kansas and Tahlequah. We will be meeting at 10 a.m. Prices are what are listed above before taxes!
If you don't want to commit to an all day trip, we will be stopping at Hanging Rock (1/2 way point) so you can easily do a 1/2 day trip. We have at least 3 people getting off there.
If you need directions, let me know. If you are going, let me know so I can look out for you!!

Thanks to everyone that showed up yesterday. Sorry we got moved from Eagle Bluff, but they didn't have any rafts yet, just canoes...so we loaded up and went to Arrowhead up the road. We got our rafts and we were off.
Our bus driver up to the drop off point was fun to flirt with while me and the redhead was arguing...LOL! He said I could take her. He cracked me up when we pulled off the highway and said "Now we go from Friday the 13th to Deliverance!!"
Floating was fun. I got knocked in my Raymond countless times and I CLUNG to side of the raft. I don't know how to swim that well and was SKEERED!! We stopped a lot to get out to swim and we stopped to have lunch.
We met some interesting people floating by. We saw 2 kids pulling their canoe up the dirt embankment on the side of the river. It was very steep and they wanted to slid off of it into the river. I was totally seeing a JACKASS moment and wanted to watch. We honestly thought they were stealing the canoe but people passing by told us what they were going to do...so I told them I was going to stay to help with the police report later as a witness. LMAO! They ended up skiing off the steep embankment and it worked....somehow!
Anyways, we all got sunburned but it was a fun day! I even had time to make it to the races later that evening...lobster looking and all...
Thanks for another great float trip!!
