Sweet...we'll be doing that one for sure...yeah, I agree, there is nothing like riding over the Dam and freezing your assets off.
I just hope Janetta doesn't loose all her candy in one spot...hehe!

Yeppers -- and we have got to defend our 2nd place from last year! I am all for any or all of those parades -- I know that if we do Grove's parade, Raymond won't be riding with us -- he'll be nice and toasty in his PSO truck with all the other PSO guys!

I wouldn't mind being warm and toasty with the PSO guys myself...is that an option? HA!
I can't wait for the parades...always a bunch of fun.

Ok...for ideas for lighting up the quads...
Utility quads have the option for using an Inventer and pluggin it in directly to the quad. You can purchase one at W/M in Automotive or any parts store. Also, I went to Dollar Tree and bought a windsock for my whip flag, silver bells for the front, and some snowflakes for decoration.
For sport quads, it's a little higher, but you can buy a bigger Inverter which you mount on your quad and use. Raymond did it last year and had better lights than us. Also, use your whip flag to put something up in the air that will float while we cruise the parade.
Battery operated lights are a good choice too. No Santa stuff please...they don't wanna confuse the smaller children.
Remember to bring a blanket or heavy coat, gloves, scarves...we go over the Pensacola Dam and it gets cold!!
Candy is welcome for Disney Parade. We can hand it out to the kids. Just remember to be careful. The kids just think free candy and run...so be careful and watch out...because they don't think safety...

Sorry guys!!!! South Grand Lake Chamber of Commerce called Dawn today at about 11 a.m. and told her they are cancelling the Disney Parade set for Saturday due to the cold weather and such. I really hate to hear that because I know we were all looking forward to riding over the Dam and the kids were looking forward to throwing out the candy. They also said they were not going to re-schedule due to the fact that other towns in the area already have dates set for their parades. Guess we will have to catch them again next year!
