Are we going to the Grove Parade? I know a few of the Rebels may help clean up at Disney during the day but was just wondering about the parade. I know Raymond will be there with his company in a nice warm truck but what about everyone else??? Let us know!!!

Heard from Dawn yesterday that we are registered for the Grove Christmas Parade for Saturday the 9th. Not sure on the time, but I think she said line up @ 5 pm? and it starts @ 6 pm? You will have to get with her on the times again......just wanted to let everyone know that we will be there. She said the people walking can hand out candy, so I'm not sure they will let us since we are on a moving vehicle. Can't wait!!! At least the weather is gonna be nicer than what it would have been at Disney. Hope to see alot of Rebels there!!!

Hey, I like FREE stuff (regarding hot chocolate in previous message) Okay, Dawn said the parade starts @ 6 PM and we will have to be there to line up @ 4PM. We can "hand" candy out but do not throw it. We are supposed to park behind the Civic Center (across from Wal~Mart). There are gonna be very few spaces to park as it is according to Raymond. Dawn had mentioned something about asking to see if we could park at the end of the parade route so we won't have to drive back to get loaded up. It would be easier to drive to the Civic Center because they would already have roads blocked off anyways, but I will post it and let you know if we can. I was told the parade route is approximately 1 mile if not alittle longer. Sounds like alot of fun. Can't wait!!!

The parade was awesome. We unloaded and touched up the quads with our decorations. Heather's lights were giving her a little bit of trouble...but they were working half ass... We lined up and everyone else that was participating in the parades were looking at us and waving. They like mine and Janetta's sweatshirts that we got from Sahara that said, "You just got passed by a girl!" on the back. We were five minutes from starting, so we fired up the quads. I suddenly seen some smoke coming from my lights. Boom! They were toast! I had no lights...but it was cool, I still got to ride out there on Main. I was bummed, but oh well, shit happens... We started rolling out and we were the 7th one in line. We handed out some candy. We saw lots of police officers at every interesection who would smile and give us some looks. I told Heather to ask the one if we were street legal. He winked and said "Yeah, tonight!" We finished the parade and decided to sit in front of Pizza Hut to watch the rest of the 60 some entries float by. We got lots of looks. I guess it's not every day they see ATVs lit up in front of Pizza Hut on the curb!! Finally, Santa came strolling down the street. He was walking. I guess he had problems with his sleigh up the street. The police started bringing down the regular traffic since the parade was over. We were sitting on the curb still and a police car was in front of us. They roll down their window right in front of me and said, "Advertising that you all are Outlaws, huh?" Damn, they were hot....!! I said, "It's not advertisement! It's the truth!" They smiled. We kinda flirted for a few...and then they were pulling off and I said, "Hey, we need an escort all the way back!" He smiled and said that they had to go in the other direction unfortunately!!" Damnit! Well, if they remember to look us up....I was the one on the blue Grizzly...flirting! and I'm single... Shameless advertising right there... We had a great time! Can't wait until next year!! Wow ~ what a blast. It wasn't too cold. I was more prepared this year than last year. I let my mother-in-law and father-in-law know where we were in line so they could watch for us. They had Brooklyn with them and she got her out of the car to come out and see us on the curb. I pulled over to her and handed them some candy. Brooklyn looked stunned because she still didn't recognize who we were with all the hustle, bustle, lights, and floats. I said "Hey baby" and then she waved goodbye to me. Yah, it was alot of fun pulling up to people and handing them candy. Alot of people are like "Cool ~ look at those 4~wheelers lite up." Dawn made us some signs that said "Rebel Outlaws" and we hung them on our 4~wheelers so everyone would know who we were. They turned out really nice! Thanks Dawn! I feel sorry for Dawn though because her lights on her 4~wheeler blew up on her or got "smoked". I think she still had fun though.....especially flirting with all the cops! Raymond got a comment while we were on our 4~wheelers too. We had just pulled out and was maybe 500 yards from where we started and these two girls were walking down the road probably trying to find a spot to sit. The one girl says "Yah, that's what I want for Christmas right there!" I just laughed....I don't care who you are ~ that's just funny! I got to work this morning and one of the shipping guys said I seen you Saturday. I was like where? Stupid me forgot where we were Saturday......I was like "Oh yah." He said we looked pretty good riding down the road. I was like "Thanks!" I think everyone had a good time! Thanks to all the Rebels for a great night at the Parade! We need to do a few more next year. Maybe the weather will cooperate alittle better....never know, huh!

Well, guess I better mention I felt sorry for my poor hubby too! He has been begging me to get him some new tires for his 4~wheeler. When we got to the parade and was ready to unload he looked at his tire and it was almost flat. He wasn't going to unload it until Raymond convinced him that we were just going to be riding slow and that he will be fine. Sorry Chris~~we will be getting you some new tires really soon.....I promise! Love you!

Yeah, Brooklyn was very stunned...kinda like what are they doing in the parade? She was cute! Yeah, I saw the two girls that said that as they walked by Raymond...that was cute! Oh man, I want a police officer for my Christmas gift!! I've always had a thing for them...boy, they were looking good the other night...so good, I wanted to commit a crime... Hey Chris, I'll buy you a set of tires if you give me that New Year's cruise ticket!!! Dawn
