We're going to try to ride at Disney on Sunday, 17th. If it rains, we won't be going. Check out the riding area at the following address: www.extreme4wheelin.com/langley_disney.htmThese trails are rated from a 1 to 6. A lot of the area are rated 4 and above. We hear there are areas of sand, mud, and lots of rocks!!! We hear a person can shred an ATV tire on the rocks....so be prepared. We just want to check this area out. Let us know if you're interested! We'll have Tyler, Raymond, Heather, Chris, and myself for sure going. Dawn

Ok...just got back from Disney...well...I flipped my Grizzly on Panty Hill...the place where all the panties are hanging in the tree up the steep hill...
We were coming off the back side of it and I was 2nd to last to go DOWN the hill...I started down...got sideways...and WHAM!!!...flip...I think it ended up flipping 3 times. Mostly cosmetic scuffs to the plastic...bent the handles down (easily fixed) and just scuffed. I was underneath it when it flipped. I got some road rash on my left shoulder and elbow, but I was VERY VERY lucky!!! I think it scared Tyler and my bro in law Chris more because they watched most of it happen and couldn't help!!!
Needless to say, I was pissed off, but it was an accident. The guys flipped it over (Thank YOU!) and we went back on our way.
Other than that, I loved the trails and loved the rocky area by the water. We had a drag race before all of this and I won. I beat all the guys...what fun!!! We watched the Jeeps rock crawl some and they are having a dirt bike/moto cross event next Saturday and Sunday that I would love to watch. They are setting up the obstacles and events today and it looks awesome!!!
Anyways, it was an interesting day...but hey, we came back alive (scuffed...LOL!) and we're ready for the next ride....

We take are Jeeps and our atvs there on a regular basis and have a blast. The areas is great in the summer as long as there is water running below the dam. Its a great area to cool off as well as knock off some of the dust.

I love that area. Especially the half-pipe. There's always some fun to be had shooting up the sides there. Scary as h#!! going up some of those side ramps out, but fun! Haha, one of my friends went up one particularly steep one that I told him he was insane to go up and I see him go up and over and then I hear a big splash and "awwwwww ^$!" Nice big water hole on the other side of the hill. I still laugh at him. :-) I love playing in the jeep's ruts and racing on the "beach".

Yep, we know that half-pipe area pretty well...do they also call that the slew? I love the beach drag racing area too...lots of fun. We'll have to all get together and go out there again...maybe you know of a few places that we haven't got to ride on...like over by Little Blue. Dawn

Yeah, I've heard it called both half pipe and slew. Another good place for a race is a little dirt road up right by the golf course. It's a little narrow, but enough for 2 people to go on. I actually haven't been back further than the waterfall. I do like riding around up there above the water fall though, its fun for a few minutes at least. You know the little trail that turns off the main path immediately (to the left) after you cross the main stream to get to all the ruts and mud? You can go up that hill and go back in there and ride up the power line clearing. There are a couple of pretty fun hills back in there. You have to be careful back there though because you will run into people's back yards if you go tooooo far back in there and they tend to not like that. I really want to go back past the waterfall area next time I ride up there (maybe Friday if the weather is as nice as they say it is gonna be) and see what's to be seen back there, but only time will tell on that.

A couple of buddies and I were thinking about going out to ride here, but more than a couple of people have told us it is not really safe for poeple on ATV's on account of the jeeps. Do you need a 4wd atv if you go? What do you guys think?

We've never had any problems with those Jeepers. They're much wider than us...so we usually get off to the side while they pass. We usually sit and watch them play too.
Disney is a nice area, but like Raymond said, it's rocky. Lots of places to explore. Not a bad little area. I have a Grizzly and had a lot of fun there. I did flip on Panty Hill, so beware of the hills.
There is Hogan's Off Road Park down from the Dam. They have restrooms, a place to eat, shower, etc. You can camp there.

Dawn, I rode at Disney last weekend and found a part that someone might be missing. It is a grate cover for an offroad light. If you know of someone who lost one, I have it.
