Cross Bar Ranch ATV/Motorcycle Off - Road Area, the newest off-road riding experience in the West. The ranch offers recreation for motorcyclists, 4-wheelers, picnickers, and campers in the Arbuckle Mountains area just off of I-35 midway between Oklahoma City and the Dallas/Ft. Worth.
The riding area offers diverse terrain featuring cedar covered hills, hardwood slopes and valleys and crystal clear creeks and springs. The elevation changes range for gentle slopes to extreme changes of 500 feet or more.
The area on the ranch designated for ATV/Motorcycle activities consists of 2,800 acres located in the northern portion of the property. The Cross Bar Ranch currently offers the largest acreage dedicated entirely to ATV/Motorcycle riding in the state of Oklahoma.
The land currently has an abundance of ATV trails, feed roads and seismograph easements that offer several miles of off-road enjoyment. Trail development and construction is currently in place so additional trail opportunities are just around the corner. Plans are to have 100-miles of trail in place by 2008.
The trails are very durable and not heavily affected by rain. The trail surface consists of clay soils and rock, providing an all weather surface which is affected little by erosion.
There is no additional charge to use the Cross Bar Ranch Off-Road area other than the regular ranch admission. The current admission costs are $6 per day for adults and $5 a day for youth 12 and under. All riders are required to have in their possession a Cross Bar Ranch ATV/OHV Activity Card prior to participating in any off-road activity. Liability release forms are required and will be available when paying admission. Once the form is completed the visitor will receive their activity card. All riders on the ranch must wear helmets and boots, no exceptions. Also no children below the allowed age of the vehicle in question are permitted to ride any off-road vehicle on the ranch.

Went to Crossbar yesterday. Great riding. The admission has gone up to $10/adults. We took the north loop which is around 21 miles. It's a good ride. There were a few tricky spots. I ride an Arctic Cat 400 and the other two guys had Honda sportrax 250's. There is some amazing scenery on this trail. Well, worth the drive. The guy that runs the place, Brad, is great to deal with as well.

Just an FYI....Me and a group of about 10 other riders from okatvriders went to this place last weekend(1/3/09).... You better pack a lunch and some advil and extra parts if you ride there... It is VERY rocky and very challenging throughout the entire ride...I unfortunately was on my Predator (had ridden Little Sahara the day before and wasn't feasible to go back to Tulsa to get my utility)...BAD IDEA...It is NOT a place for beginners or anyone who does not want a workout all day...It has ROCKS...and more ROCKS...and some very intense and somewhat constant elevation changes...If you are looking for a challenging ride this is the place to go...If you are looking for an easy "sunday drive" you might wanna make other plans...Overall, it was fun, but I would definitely take a utility quad and the mindset that there is a good chance you are gonna "break" something(rims, tires, suspension, your body ) while you are there... I was told it was like Disney.....NOT It's like Disney on rocky steroids..... There were alot of dirt bikes and side by sides(Rhinos and Razr's) there the day we were there...
